Meet Dr. Patty Richardson, PhD
Dr. Richardson is the founder and clinical director of Bluebird Child & Family Psychology. Her research-informed practice supports the health and wellbeing of children, adolescents, and adults. She has over 10 years of experience in the field and has trained at world-class institutions including St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Stanford University.

What conditions can you treat?Our team is equipped to treat a range of mental health conditions and adjustment issues for ages 0 and up, including anxiety, depression, sleep problems, school challenges, life transitions, relationship and interpersonal difficulties, and medical coping.

How is a therapist chosen for me?Each of our professional licensed therapists are well-trained across a number of areas and are able to see a wide range of patients. During your initial consultation, we will talk about your family’s needs, discuss your schedule, and take into consideration any specific requests. From there we will match you with the right therapist.

Does therapy always involve medications?Not necessarily! Different kinds of problems require different kinds of treatments. Depending on what challenges you or your child is facing, our behavioral specialist will review treatment options and create a tailored plan for you. We also offer medication management and can answer any questions related to your prescribed medication.
