We know that parenting is hard--and that is an understatement. Despite best efforts, many parents struggle to find effective strategies to help children with emotional, medical, or behavioral challenges; find that the strategies that worked with one child do not work with the next; or wish to parent their children in a different way from their own upbringing but are unsure of the best path forward. There are many reasons that caregivers and families seek additional support; we will provide you with feedback and strategies that are tailored to the specific needs of your child and family.
Our approach to parent coaching and family therapy is rooted in research-proven methods that include parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), emotion-focused coping, Gottman method, family systems, and cognitive behavioral approaches.
